Only in Nashville and Song Recommendations
Wow…
Nashville is like, well…I’m not even going to try to describe it wordedly. Maybe you’ll see when you look at these pics–look closely at some of them.
This lady belongs in the Parthenon–not in Greece, but in Nashville. Yes, they have a Parthenon with an Athena and they light the building at night.
This is my mom checking out Greek gods.
Cool skyline, right. Wait–is that a bat-mo-building?? Can you guess what I’m referring to or do you need me to point it out?
Music Row. There were a lot of bands, some of them aint bad either.
Another one: (We weren’t checking out the boys. It was their music that counts.)
The guy below, on the right, reminded us all why we don’t go to bars. We were in for a big surprise, but you’ll have to hear that story in person.
Did a little line dancin’ and ‘yihaws’ at the Wildhorse Saloon followed by a couple rounds of pool.
Me and Nellene picked out our favorite boys.
And mine…
Here are the rhythmic street players.
All this honky tonk actually led me to buy a few twangy songs. Yeah, I know–I’m not a country music person. But this guy is pretty sexy when he reaches the low notes.
Here are the ones I got:
Josh Turner’s
Would You Go With Me, Your Man, Firecracker, No Rush (If it’s bolded, it’s my favorite.)

Love your posts…………..and love your lugha arabiyya sweatshirt too!!!!
Yet one more reason to call you…I want to hear the story that’s too juicy for the blog
So glad you could come! Nashville misses you already!! Let me point out that the “guy on the right” is the reason we ended up in a bar….;-)
