Murfreesboro Updated

I wrote the last post at 3:00am in the morning after churning the CNN special in my mind for two and a half hours. It all came out in a tumble, hardly organized; so much of my life’s work in the past while mixed and aired on a one hour show.
And in an effort to try to give my last post a punch line, I would say that I don’t believe the discourse is on the right track. If we want change and acceptance for Muslims, we need to give more credit to the 80 plus percent of Murfreesboro that wholeheartedly welcomes their Muslim neighbors. And that statistic is from the Muslim community themselves.
Are we inflaming terrorism by labeling a community or shouldn’t we reach out a hand of acknowledgement to these communities and isolate the white terrorists who are a very small minority of these populations? That’s how we approach Afghanistan and Pakistan, just read “Three Cups of Tea”.
